The inn has been design and built by the Italian owner who left his profession of architecture and the lifestyle of the big cities, he has been devoted to realize his dream of building a small guesthouse using traditional construction methods and local materials.

Capurganá is a small Colombian town in the Chocó region; its geographical position and its pollution free environment make this place one of the last havens for ecotourism lovers.

The San Blas Islands are located near Capurganá, without doubt, is the less polluted and unexplored archipelago of the southern side, making your trip an unforgettable experience.

The archipelago of San Blas, on the Atlantic coast of the country is part the region that the Kuna Indians are settle, consists of 365 islands with the finest beaches, lined with coconut palms and sand washed by the Caribbean Sea.

Actually that sounds idyllic and best of all, it’s idyllic. The Kuna are very jealous of their cultural identity and autonomy in the region, so they do not let “foreigners” own land or build in there area. This eliminates, at a stroke, one of the biggest drawbacks of the Caribbean: mega luxury resorts and mass tourism.

On the other hand, visit the Kuna and explore its rich culture and it would be a reason itself to visit the region (known as Kuna Yala). Their religion and customs are extremely interesting; particularly striking traditional dress of the Kuna women.

Finally, one can not deny that the choice of staying in one of the lodges that fascinating Kuna managed in the area is really interesting. Usually this is basic accommodation for facilities, but 5 stars about location.
